Sgt. Thomas McVicar of the Jersey City Police Department shot 22 year old Kwadir Felton, leaving him blind, after Kwadir pulled a gun on him, he claims. Kwadir Felton denied the accusation, stating that he doesn’t even carry guns.
"I don’t understand!" Felton yelled at a police officer before his mother was removed from the courtroom. "You didn’t have to shoot me in the head for no reason! You trying to charge me with something I didn’t do!"

This broke my fucking heart.
hey this needs about 16k more signatures
14K more. TUBMLR WE CAN DO IT
I signed the petition but most of the comments have to do with racism. I think a lot of the signers missed the point. Authority is now more and more often misusing power. That’s the problem. People can have a gun to protect but that doesn’t give them the right to DECIDE who lives….especially in this case.
I think you miss the point. This happens to black people more than white people by a significant degree. It’s not just police equality abusing their power against everyone.
